Tech Tigers is operated by Hyett Education Ltd. This explains what personal data we collect when you book a club, join our waitlist or contact us, why we hold it, and the rights you have over it. We follow the UK GDPR and the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025.
Who we are
The data controller is Hyett Education Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 11079223, at Unit 11, Four Ashes Enterprise Centre, Wolverhampton, WV10 7BY. You can reach us about anything on this page at hello@techtigers.co.uk.
What we collect
Contact details for parents and carers, such as names, email addresses and phone numbers. Information about your child needed to run a session safely, including their name, age, and any medical, dietary or SEND needs and consents you give us. Booking and payment information. We treat medical, allergy and SEND information as special category data and only process it with your explicit consent.
Why we use it
To run and manage your child’s club place, to communicate with you about our clubs, to meet our legal obligations, and to improve our services. Where we send marketing, we do so with your consent or where we have a legitimate interest, and you can object at any time.
How we protect it
We encrypt digital records, use secure passwords and access controls so only authorised staff can see sensitive information, keep track of where data is stored and back it up, and dispose of data responsibly when it is no longer needed.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only where needed to deliver our service, under appropriate contracts, or where the law requires it: our booking and payment providers, the school hosting a club, our website hosting provider (Vercel), and our email delivery provider (Resend), which processes the details you submit through our waitlist and contact forms so we can respond to you.
Our website uses privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics (Vercel Analytics) that collects aggregate page statistics only and does not identify or track individual visitors.
How long we keep it
Only as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it, and no longer than our legal and record-keeping obligations require.
Your rights
You have the right to be informed, to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, to data portability, and rights relating to automated decision-making. We respond to requests within one month.
Data breaches
We have procedures to deal with and prevent personal data breaches, including notifying the Information Commissioner’s Office and affected individuals where the law requires it.
